GovX Integrations 101

We offer a variety of integration options allowing partners to exchange order and inventory information electronically with GovX, including both push and pull services. This document outlines all the available integration options, including links to more detailed articles to help you get set up.

Inventory Integrations

Integrating inventory with GovX will help reduce cancellations resulting from out of stock items, improve the customer satisfaction with your brand and reduce manual workload. Inventory integration will send the inventory levels of your stock to GovX and control the ability for customers to purchase your products based on the availability.

Within the GovX system, we can further configure what should happen when an item does go out of stock, including un-publishing it, leaving it published and giving customers the ability to subscribe to be notified when it's back in stock, or allowing backorders. GovX can also adjust required minimum stock levels for items that move quickly or in large quantities. This will protect us from over-selling a product in between inventory updates. Your GovX Brand Manager can go into further details regarding these settings.

GovX supports a number of ways for receiving inventory data. The methods and formats are described below.

Email

GovX can work with Partners using a simple Email integration. The email integration does exactly what it sounds like it does - our system kicks out an email with order information including an electronic packing slip.

GovX email integration the fastest way to get started trading with GovX, but it also requires the most manpower to run. Orders are emailed as they are received by GovX. Each email includes a packing slip PDF attachment for you to print and include in the package to the customer. The attachment gives the customer all info needed regarding their order, plus return and customer service info, and lets them know to contact us instead of you for any of these inquiries.
